West Palm Beach resident at odds with the city’s violent crime statistics

Writer: The Beacon Today The Beacon Today

Teawanna Teal, also known as TeTe among family and friends, is a mother of three in the Historic Northwest district. She opens up about what life is like in a West Palm Beach neighborhood plagued with violent crime. City of West Palm Beach Chief of Police Frank Adderley responds to statistics released by the city in early September that show a 17% decrease in violent crime from year-to-date. He speaks about efforts to address violent crime in areas not feeling any relief, and he discusses what he sees as the best hope for addressing these issues.
